Amidst a bout of mental health issues and homelessness in 2022, I came to see that a lot of my personal baggage stemmed from a muck of sexual repression and sexual shame, and a lingering sense of inadequacy over my sexuality and as a man and a sexual human being.
"Goodboi Johnny" is a personal project conceptualized while out homeless “touring” the US, meeting a variety of men - not just for sex, but also friendship and intimacy - moving from city to city by working delivery gigs to support myself.
“Johnny” as an alter ego experience has resulted in a tremendous amount of self love, fraternal intimacy, and a strange sense of both animalistic and spiritual pride. He has helped me experience a profound sense of liberation that has helped me feel like a better man and a stronger human being.
